Diary Log
22/10/2012
This weeks lesson we made the story board, risk assessments and location lists.
For the risk assessments we wrote down the potential risks that are likely to happen on set and how we can prevent it from happening such as students falling over wires. We have achieved this by going through where we will be filming and what sort of risk there can be in that location.
For our story drew out what the sort of scenes that would be in the production and wrote out what the picture is showing for example the first picture is three students are walking home from school and its dark; they get scared because they think they are being followed and they all look back and they find that one of them have gone missing.
In our location list we did a list of where we will be filming.

This video "Martina Mcbride - Concrete Angel" inspired us with our 1 minute because it is about a child who is getting abused by her own mother and it got to the point where the mother ended up killing her own daughter. However, for our 1 minute film we came up with the idea of a girl getting bullied in school by a group of girls in her year. We decided that the girl would write a letter to her mum explaining what has been going on but her mum finds the letter and its too later. At the end the victim's date of birth is shown and the date of her death. This video inspired us because we want to show bullying in different ways and make it more aware to people of how it effects people. Also we were inspired by the story line of the month abusing her own daughter and wanted to create our own version by using school girls instead.
